General Enquiry Snooker Cue

I have a J P Mannock double-butted cue in original condition, with what appears to be the metal case from the same era, more than likely bought at the same time as the cue, which I want to sell. Can anyone advise on the best place to sell and get a true valuation of it's value. [I had been offered £300.00 from someone, but want to know it's true value before deciding to sell.

From my brief web research I believe that the cue could be from the 1930 - 1940s, but this is just an assumption of its age based on when the cues were originally manufactured.

The case is rather rusty and worn, but certainly adds value to this vintage snooker cue as it appears to be made by the manufacturer of the cue - Burroughes & Watts. This is a genuine sale as it was found in a friend's barn when clearing out. I don't have any interest in the sport, so shan't use it - hence the sale.

The cue has an inset made of mother of pearl with the words "ANTI GRIP CUE JP Mannock REGISTERED " inscribed. The cue dimensions :- approx 1475mm Long [58 1/8" long] 28mm [1 1/4" tapering to 11mm approx 3/8"]. 16 02 stamped on length of cue inlaid as shown in one of the images above.
