need help :- grip hand colliding with table often while striking cue ball

when i am not focusing on my grip hand its collides with table(cushion area)...its affecting my game cuz i have to shift my focus from object ball or line of aim to grip hand plz help me how can i stop injuring my fingures specially in power shots
