Snooker rules

Hi all!

Last time I played we had some difficulties with some rules, especially 2 occasions:

1 Is it possible to aim for a colored ball, for example black and then hit another colored ball in hole. Is this ok? Ex. aim for black, hit yellow in hole.

2 If the white ball jumps out of the table what happens then: how many points for the oppenent and where to put the white ball?

I havent seen those 2 occasions on television, probably because they are professionals :)
