Say your opponent pots the cue ball. Is it legal for you take your "D" zone ball in hand shot directly at a eligible ball that is also within the "D" zone on the following shot? Or do you have to deflect off a rail in order to legally make contact with a ball in the "D" zone on a ball in hand shot? Thanks for any clarification!
